Kent Coffey Perspecta Quadruple Lowboy - SOLD

This chest of drawers was manufactured mid-century (circa 1960) in Lenoir, NC as part of the Kent Coffey Perspecta collection.  It is rare to find one of this size (12 drawers).  It is solidly built of walnut and pecan, and it has some beautiful architectural details.  The dresser has undergone a huge transformation.  It was gifted to us about a year ago by a Blue Lamb fan who knew it had potential.  When we received it, the veneer surfaces were severely damaged, the wooden sculpted drawer pulls on the left and right-hand sides of the piece needed to be reconstructed, and a number of the middle metal drawer pulls were either broken or missing.  We did our best to revive it.  After some extensive prep work, we painted the shell of the chest, the middle drawers, and the raised sculpted elements on the left and right-hand drawers.  Our painting technique involves hand-painting multiple coats of a premium semi-gloss paint over primer.  We replaced the missing metal drawer pulls, and we refinished the complete set.  This is a very versatile, statement worthy piece of furniture. It would be excellent for storage in any room.  This piece measures: 77 1/2"W x 20"D x 31"H.
