Painting on Canvas - Janis Joplin - SOLD

This large-scale acrylic painting was created in January of 2015 by Blue Lamb's creative director Lauren Drake Santoro.  It is a monochromatic portrait of Janis Joplin, the legendary American singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the late 1960s.  Janis was known for her powerful, blues-inspired vocals.  Her voice has been described as "one of the most distinctive and galvanizing in pop history." The painting is on a deep-edge, stretched cotton canvas that measures: 30"W x 36"H.

Johnson Carper Fashion Trend Lowboy - SOLD

This mid-century modern chest of drawers is stunning in person.  It was manufactured circa 1960 by the Johnson-Carper furniture company for their Fashion Trend line.  This piece has classic clean lines and beautiful architectural details. The body and tapered legs are refinished with two coats of a highly durable Benjamin Moore semi-gloss paint over two coats of primer.   All 9 drawers slide well. They are solidly constructed with dovetail joints. We also refinished the walnut drawer fronts.  For a little extra spice, we lined the drawers with a bold designer wall covering that features a black and white geometric floral print.  This dresser measures: 62 1/2"W x 18"D x 30 1/2"H.  Oh my, an obsession is developing.  We heart Johnson-Carper. :)

Customizable Kent Coffey Lowboy - SOLD

Hi Folks! We have a really nice piece in our workshop right now that we are looking to customize in the coming weeks.  It is a mid-century modern Kent Coffey Perspecta quadruple lowboy, a rare find.  The architectural details on Kent Coffeys are stunning.  Love them.  We've attached a before photo of the quad (we do have the full set of original drawer pulls) followed by some photos of a triple that we previously redesigned and refinished. The quad measures: 77 1/2"W x 20"D x 31"H.  It is solidly built of walnut and pecan, and the drawers have dovetail joints.  Our painting technique involves applying multiple coats of a Benjamin Moore Advance, a premium semi-gloss paint, over two coats of BIN primer.  Our price on this piece includes a local delivery.  We can have this piece completed and delivered within 10 days of purchase.  If you would like first dibs on it, please let us know. As always, thank you so much for visiting our site!

Commissioned Antique Dresser/Changing Table - SOLD

This lovely antique dresser was commissioned by a Blue Lamb client who needed a modestly-sized changing table for their nursery, and wanted something timeless and special.  The project was truly a collaborative effort with that client and ourselves. Our client provided us with their space requirements, style preferences, and functional needs.  Phil and I did some research, found the dresser, provided our client with an initial design consultation, and then we kept an open dialogue throughout the design process.  We are all very pleased with the result.  Oh, how we adore furnishing nurseries and kids rooms. :)
