Basic-Witz 9-Drawer Lowboy - SOLD

Now that this dresser has been redesigned and refinished, I am swooning over it.  In its original finish,  I honestly couldn't stand the thing!  I didn't know what to do with it!  Now I wish we could keep it for ourselves. ;)  This business is so interesting.  This dresser was manufactured mid-century by Basic-Witz in Waynesboro, VA.  The brass-lined handles were a signature element in the dressers produced by this company at that time.  This piece is made of solid walnut, and it has some gorgeous architectural details.  Its new finish is multiple coats of premium semi-gloss paint over primer.  We restored the insides of the drawers as well.  This dresser measures: 64"W x 18"D x 31"H.

Sleek Media Console w/ Open Shelving - SOLD

This mid-century media console is a rare find.  Phil and I have never seen one like this before.  Even after doing some research online, we still can't pin it down.  We hand-picked this piece for its beautiful architectural details, its solid build, and its versatility.  We've nicknamed the top and bottom planks "surfboards."  The surfboards have been refinished with multiple coats of a charcoal gray premium semi-gloss paint over primer.  The rest of the wooden frame has been restored.  One of the shelves slides out on a metal track.  The other two shelves are height adjustable.  This console measures: 72 1/2" W x 17"D x 33"H.  It is on display in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St. / Rt 1A).  The Barn at Todd Farm is open to the public Wednesday thru Saturday 10:30AM - 5PM, and Sunday 9AM - 4PM.

Kent Coffey Perspecta Quadruple Lowboy - SOLD

This chest of drawers was manufactured mid-century (circa 1960) in Lenoir, NC as part of the Kent Coffey Perspecta collection.  It is rare to find one of this size (12 drawers).  It is solidly built of walnut and pecan, and it has some beautiful architectural details.  The dresser has undergone a huge transformation.  It was gifted to us about a year ago by a Blue Lamb fan who knew it had potential.  When we received it, the veneer surfaces were severely damaged, the wooden sculpted drawer pulls on the left and right-hand sides of the piece needed to be reconstructed, and a number of the middle metal drawer pulls were either broken or missing.  We did our best to revive it.  After some extensive prep work, we painted the shell of the chest, the middle drawers, and the raised sculpted elements on the left and right-hand drawers.  Our painting technique involves hand-painting multiple coats of a premium semi-gloss paint over primer.  We replaced the missing metal drawer pulls, and we refinished the complete set.  This is a very versatile, statement worthy piece of furniture. It would be excellent for storage in any room.  This piece measures: 77 1/2"W x 20"D x 31"H.

Striped Storage Crate on Casters - SOLD

Phil and I just love vintage wooden storage crates.  This one did not have any printing on it when we purchased it, so we thought it would be a good candidate for some style infusion.  In an effort to clean the interior of the crate, yet preserve the cool patina, we lightly sanded it, and applied a single layer of wipe on polyurethane.  Then, we sanded, primed, and painted the exterior, and attached new chrome and rubber casters to the base. This crate is strong and sturdy, and incredibly versatile.  It is also a great length.  It measures: 31"W x 12 1/2"D x 12"H.  It is on display in our showroom at the beautifully renovated Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St./Rt 1A).  The Barn at Todd Farm is a multi-dealer antique, vintage, and handmade craft shop.  It is open to the public Wednesday thru Saturday 10:30AM - 5PM, and Sunday 9AM - 4PM.

Blue 3/4-Size Jenny Lind Bed Frame - SOLD

We adore a Jenny Lind! This classic beauty was most likely manufactured in the late 1800s/early 1900s.  These solid wooden pieces have gorgeously crafted spindles.  We refinished them with two hand-painted coats of a premium semi-gloss paint, over primer.  The frame includes: a headboard and a foot board only. Side rails and slats are not included. We have read that full size mattresses on metal bed frames work just fine with 3/4 size headboard/foot boards, but we have not tried this yet. We're working on crafting a simple wooden extension to both pieces to better accommodate a full mattress.  3/4 size mattresses can also be custom ordered.  The headboard measures: 52 1/4"W x 38"H.
