Children's Cubby w/ Robot Paper - SOLD

These darling vintage cubbies were manufactured mid-century, and they were used for many years by children at the Bresnahan Elementary School in Newburyport.  Phil and I salvaged these cubbies just before the school was demolished and then rebuilt in a new location.  We have one available in yellow.  The blue ones have sold.  The paint we used is Benjamin Moore Advance premium semi-gloss over primer.  We replaced the original hooks with modern brushed chrome ones, and we lined the back wall with Ferm Living's Robot wallpaper.  Four of the wooden dividers are removable.  Each cubby measures: 48"W x 12"D x 48"H.    The yellow one is currently on display in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St. / Rt 1A).

Two (of 4) Bentwood Children's Chairs - SOLD

This listing is for 2 darling vintage children's chairs (at $50 a piece).  We have 4 of them.  If you are interested in all four, please let us know!  Phil and I hand painted the the seats and the backs of these chairs with a durable semi-gloss paint over primer.  Then, we polished the bentwood frames (instead of refinishing them) to preserve their natural patina.  Each chair measures: 13"W x 15"D x 21"H, with a seat height of 10 1/2".  The full set is on display in our showroom at the beautifully renovated Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St. / Rt 1A). 
 

 

Striped Top Single Pedestal Desk - SOLD

This gorgeous vintage desk was manufactured mid-century.  We restored the base of the piece, then we hand painted gray and white stripes on the top surface. We also replaced the original drawer knobs with new polished chrome ones.  The drawers are solidly constructed. All 3 slide well. All sides of this piece are finished, so it looks great from any angle.  This desk measures: 50"W x 21"D x 28"H.  It is on display in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St./Rt 1A).

Vintage Storage Crate/Toy Bin - SOLD

This wooden storage crate on casters is so rad. To clean the crate up, but preserve the beautiful patina, we lightly sanded it, and applied a single layer of Minwax Wipe On Poly.  Then we attached new chrome and rubber casters to the base.  The casters glide really well on hardwood floors.  This crate is strong and sturdy, and incredibly versatile.  It measures: 18 1/2"W x 12"D x 13"H.  It is stamped, "Drink Pop Kola Biggest Thirst Value Under The Sun."  This crate is on display in our showroom at the Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St. / Rt 1A).

White + Wood MCM Lowboy - SOLD

This dresser has nice clean lines and a solid build.  It was manufactured mid-century, circa 1960.  The new finish is Benjamin Moore Advance semi-gloss paint over primer.  All six drawers slide well. They are solidly constructed with dovetail joints.  The drawer pulls have been partially refinished.  The wood and brass elements have been polished.  This piece measures: 52"W x 18"D x 31 1/2"H.  It is taller than most mid-century lowboys, so it might be a nice candidate for a changing table.  This dresser is on display in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St./Rt 1A).  The Barn at Todd Farm is a multi-dealer antique, vintage, and handmade craft shop.  It is open to the public Wednesday thru Saturday 10:30AM - 5PM, and Sunday 9AM - 4PM.  We can accommodate private showings as well.  We also offer a delivery service.

Johnson Carper Fashion Trend Lowboy - SOLD

This mid-century modern chest of drawers was manufactured by the Johnson-Carper furniture company for their Fashion Trend line.  This piece has clean lines and beautiful architectural details. The body and tapered legs are refinished with multiple coats of a highly durable Benjamin Moore semi-gloss paint over two coats of primer.  All 9 drawers slide well.  They are solidly constructed with dovetail joints. This dresser measures: 62 1/2"W x 18"D x 30 1/2"H.
