Reclaimed Wood Bar Cart - SOLD

We crafted this cart from a combination of quality reclaimed materials.  The wooden surfaces are made from hand-picked planks of 100-year-old sub-flooring salvaged from a house in Wakefield, Massachusetts.  The base is an old industrial utility cart.  We sealed the wooden planks with multiple coats of polyurethane, and we cleaned the metal.  The patinas on both the wood and the metal are gorgeous.  This cart is strong and sturdy. It measures: 34"W x 17 1/2"D x 32"H. 

 

 

 

Arc Floor Lamp w/ Custom Shade - SOLD

Phil and I were really excited to find this beautiful arc floor lamp, but its shade had some issues that we needed to address.  The lamp's previous owner had taken a stab at hand-painting the shade, but the result was...well, it needed some attention. We re-primed and re-painted it, adding the pop of yellow and the stripe print to give it a new identity, and to set it apart from most arc lamps currently on the market.  The marble base, and the steel pole on this lamp are like new. The two-tier drum shade is also in great condition, aside from some pre-existing wrinkling (for lack of a better word), in one section, which we had difficulty capturing in our photos.  There is a dimmer switch on the cord at the base of the lamp.  This lamp measures: 60"W x 19"D x 75"H. 

  

 

Painting on Canvas - Marilyn Monroe - $575

Blue Lamb's creative director, Lauren Drake Santoro painted this large-scale monochromatic portrait during the summer of 2015.  It features Marilyn Monroe (born Norma Jeane Mortenson), who may be the most celebrated of all actresses.  In the 1950s and early 1960s, Monroe starred in a number of commercially successful motion pictures.  She was also a model, a singer, and a major sex symbol.  This portrait was done with acrylic paint on a deep-edge, stretched linen canvas.  The canvas measures: 30"W x 2"D x 36"H.  It is on display in our showroom at the beautifully renovated Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St./Rt 1A). 

  

 

 

Vintage Storage Crate/Toy Bin - SOLD

These wooden storage crates on casters are so rad.  We are selling a pair of them. They are $85 a piece.  The outsides of these crates have two awesome, and very different, patinas.  To freshen the crates up, we refinished the insides with two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance semi-gloss paint over primer.  Then we attached new metal casters to their bases. The casters glide really well on hardwood floors.  These crates are strong and sturdy, and incredibly versatile.  Each crate measures: 18 1/2"W x 12"D x 13"H.  They are stamped, "Registered Hampden Bottling Company Northhampton, Mass." 

Vintage Bow-Front Buffet/Server - SOLD

Phil and I love the shape, the solid build, and the interesting hardware on this vintage server. We refinished the body of this piece with two hand-painted coats of Benjamin Moore Advance, a premium semi-gloss paint, over two coats of BIN primer.  We also painted the insides of the cabinets.  Because the wood grain on the top surface was so gorgeous, we decided not to paint it.  The veneer is worn down on a few of the edges, but this adds to the server's character.  This piece measures:  50"W x 20"D x 35"H.

Broyhill Emphasis Highboy - SOLD

This handsome chest of drawers was manufactured mid-century by Broyhill for their Emphasis series.  We love the solid build, clean lines, and interesting drawer pulls on this piece. We refinished this piece with two hand-painted coats of Benjamin Moore Advance, a premium semi-gloss paint, over two coats of BIN primer.  All five drawers slide well.  This piece measures:  40"W x 19"D x 45 1/4"H.  It is on display in our showroom at the beautifully renovated Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St. / Rt 1A). 

Pair of Heritage Side Tables - SOLD

These two vintage side tables were beautifully designed and solidly built mid-century by Heritage.  We refinished the top surface with Benjamin Moore's Grand Entrance paint in high gloss.  Grand Entrance is an interior/exterior paint that boasts a rich, lustrous finish, and outstanding durability.  The drawers on both tables slide well.  Each table measures: 23"W x 28"D x 22"H.
