Customizable Reclaimed Wood Wall Shelves + Vintage Railroad Date Nail Coat Racks

These shelves + coat racks are fully customizable.  The shelves are hand-crafted from planks of reclaimed, 100-year-old wooden sub-flooring, and shipping pallet wood.  Each plank is sanded, stained, and sealed in an effort to accentuate the natural beauty of the wood grain and knots.  The solid cast iron brackets very in style.  A standard shelf measures: 10"D x 34"W.  However, both depth and width can be made to order.  The coat rack, which can be installed beneath the shelf, features a series of reclaimed steel railroad date nails of assorted numbers.  The number stamped on the nail heads indicates the year that it was made.  A "56" for example, would indicate the nail was manufactured in 1956.  Historically, nail heads were driven into railroad ties for record keeping purposes.  The shelf and the coat rack can be sold as a pair, or individually.  Prices range based on size, but generally, the shelf alone is around $160. The coat rack alone is around $100.  If purchased together, the ensemble is around $260. We can ship within the U.S.
