Paint Dipped Vintage Children's Chairs - SOLD

These vintage chairs were darling from the get-go.  We loved the natural patina that we found on the wood, and we wanted to saver some of it, so to spruce these chairs up, we went with two very different treatments.  The paint dipped look that these chairs are sporting is a look that we've seen around and we've drooled over.  To achieve the look on our chairs, we first applied a Minwax finishing wax to the upper portions of the chairs to protect the raw wood.  Then, we hand painted the lower portion of the chairs with Benjamin Moore Advance white semi-gloss paint over primer.  The "anklets," (as Phil and I have been calling them) on the right front legs of the chairs were a throw in, just for fun.  Each chair measures: 13"W x 13"D x 24"H, with a seat height of 14 1/2".
