Campaign-Style Lowboy Dresser - SOLD

This vintage chest of drawers was manufactured mid-century, circa 1970.  The undersides of the drawers are stamped, "made in Sweden." The style of the chest was inspired by 19th century British military campaign trunks, which were specifically designed to break down into sections, making them easy for soldiers to transport.  The brass corners at that time protected the chest from dings.  Now they are solely decorative.  We've seen these dressers in a wide range of colors, but we chose to keep this one sophisticated in Benjamin Moore's Graphite.  This dresser measures: 58"W x 17"D x 30 1/2"H. Sorry for the low lighting!  The color reads a little less blue, slightly more gray in person.  The color captured in the photos of the highboy is more accurate.
