Reclaimed Wood + Metal Console Table - SOLD

This modern console table was hand-crafted from a combination of reclaimed materials.  The wooden surfaces are made from planks of 100-year-old sub-flooring salvaged from a house in Wakefield, Massachusetts.  To enhance the beauty of the aged wood and to add an element of protection, we applied multiple coats of polyurethane to the planks.  The planks are removable for easier transport.  This piece measures: 42"W x 9 1/8"D x 31"H.

MCM Storage Cabinet w/ Sliding Doors - SOLD

This beautiful cabinet was manufactured mid-century.  It was originally meant to conceal a television.  Now that the TV is no longer there, this piece has become very versatile.  We can see it being used as a changing table with toy storage beneath, a linen cabinet, an entryway piece for shoe storage, or even a bar.  The new finish on the cabinet is Benjamin Moore Advance premium semi-gloss paint over primer.  We replaced the original door pulls with a different set of aged chrome mid-century knobs.  The doors slide smoothly. They do not lock.  The inside back wall and the wooden portions of the floor have also been painted.  This cabinet measures: 38 1/2"W x 18 1/4"D x 38"H.  It is on display in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St./Rt 1A).  The Barn at Todd Farm is open Wednesday thru Saturday 10:30AM - 5PM, and Sunday 9AM - 4PM.

 

Reclaimed Wood Industrial Service Cart - SOLD

We hand-crafted this beautiful cart from a combination of reclaimed materials.  The wooden surfaces are made from planks of 100-year-old sub-flooring salvaged from a house in Wakefield, Massachusetts.  The frame is an old heavy-duty Edsal industrial service cart.  To enhance the beauty of the aged wood and to add an element of protection, we applied multiple coats of polyurethane to the planks.  We cleaned the metal frame.  It has a beautiful natural patina.  The color is less blue, more gray in person.  This cart measures: 31"W x 17 1/2"D x 33"H.  We think it'd be great as a compact kitchen island or bar cart. 

  

Double Pedestal Executive Desk - SOLD

This double pedestal executive desk was manufactured in North Carolina mid-century by the Alma Desk Company.  It is solid wood painted with multiple coats of a Benjamin Moore Advance semi-gloss paint over primer.  All sides of this piece are finished. The paint color is Chelsea Gray.  This desk measures: 60"W x30"D x 29"H.  It is on display in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St./Rt 1A).  The Barn at Todd Farm is open Wednesday thru Saturday 10:30AM - 5PM, and Sunday 9AM - 4PM.

Campaign-Style Lowboy Dresser - SOLD

This vintage chest of drawers was manufactured mid-century, circa 1970.  The undersides of the drawers are stamped, "made in Sweden." The style of the chest was inspired by 19th century British military campaign trunks, which were specifically designed to break down into sections, making them easy for soldiers to transport.  The brass corners at that time protected the chest from dings.  Now they are solely decorative.  We've seen these dressers in a wide range of colors, but we chose to keep this one sophisticated in Benjamin Moore's Graphite.  This dresser measures: 58"W x 17"D x 30 1/2"H. Sorry for the low lighting!  The color reads a little less blue, slightly more gray in person.  The color captured in the photos of the highboy is more accurate.

Campaign-Style Highboy Dresser - SOLD

These darling vintage rockers were hand crafted (mid-century, perhaps) from solid wood.  We refinished them with multiple coats of Benjamin Moore Advance semi-gloss paint over primer.
  

Pink Twin-Size Jenny Lind Bed Frame - SOLD

We adore vintage spool beds.  This single bed frame has a fresh look with multiple coats of pink semi-gloss paint over primer.  The frame includes a headboard, a foot board, a pair of wooden side rails, and a set of slats.  The headboard measures: 37"H. The foot board measures: 31"H.  The width of the bed is 39 1/2". The platform (slats across side rails) measures: 11 1/2" off the floor.  A box spring is not required with this frame. This bed frame is on display  in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St./Rt 1A). General Radio Storage Crate on Casters - SOLD

Phil and I  refinished the "floor" of the interior on this vintage storage crate, and we preserved the original finish on the rest of the piece.  The floor is covered with multiple coats of a premium semi-gloss paint over primer.  The rest of the crate has been lightly sanded and coated with a thin layer of wipe on polyurethane.  We attached new chrome and rubber casters to the base.  The casters glide really well on hardwood floors.  This crate is strong and sturdy, and incredibly versatile.  It is stamped, "General Radio Co."  Here is a link to some information about the General Radio Company:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Radio.  This crate is on display in our showroom at the Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley, MA (275 Main St. / Rt 1A).  The Barn at Todd Farm is open Wednesday thru Saturday 10:30AM - 5PM, and Sunday 9AM - 4PM.

 

Charcoal MCM Nightstand/Side Table - SOLD

This handsome cabinet was manufactured mid-century.  The new finish is multiple coats of gray Benjamin Moore Advance premium semi-gloss paint over primer.  The wooden legs and the inside surfaces of the piece have also been refinished.  The inner shelf is height adjustable.  This piece measures: 22"W x 16"D x 25 1/2"H.
