The finish on this vintage chest of drawers was inspired by a Style House highboy that we refinished about a year ago. We adore stripes, and we think they jive so nicely on furnishings with clean lines. This dresser was manufactured mid-century
by Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc. We
hand-painted the body with two coats of Benjamin Moore
Advance over two coats of BIN primer. We stripped, stained, and polyed the drawer fronts, and then hand-painted the white stripes. The contrast in finishes is really beautiful. All 4 drawers slide well. This chest measures: 34"W x 18"D x 43"H. It is on
display in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm in Rowley.
