This one-of-a kind, redesigned mid-century modern highboy
dresser is constructed of solid walnut. It was part of the Kent
Coffey “Town House” collection, and was manufactured in 1955 in Lenoir,
North Carolina. The natural wood finish on the drawer fronts is
original. The rest of the body has been refinished. The new finish is
two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance, a premium semi-gloss paint (white +
charcoal gray), over two coats of BIN primer. The 5 drawers are constructed
with dovetail joints. They all slide well. The solid brass drawer
pulls are original. This dresser measures 40" W x 46" H x 19" D.
