Johnson Carper Highboy - SOLD
This chest of drawers was manufactured mid-century (circa 1960) by the
Johnson Carper furniture company. Phil and I are big Johnson Carper fans. We
love the clean lines and beautiful architectural details. The wood
grain on the scalloped walnut drawer fronts is incredibly pretty too.
We refinished the body and tapered legs with multiple coats of a premium semi-gloss Benjamin Moore paint over primer. The drawer fronts have also
been refinished. All 5 drawers slide well. They are solidly
constructed with dovetail joints. This
dresser measures: 32"W × 18"D × 44 1/2"H.

Lane 6-Drawer Lowboy - SOLD
Phil and I changed the look of this dresser pretty significantly by raising it up on tapered legs and refinishing it in a bold hue. The color was actually inspired by the wool fabric that our friends at Modern Hub selected for one of their ottomans and coordinating pillows. We hope to feature these pieces together in our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm soon. This dresser was manufactured mid-century in Altavista, Virgina by the Lane Furniture company. It measures: 50 1/4"W x 18 1/4"D x 31 1/2"H. The color is Benjamin Moore's Bainbridge Blue.

In The Barn
Happy New Year, Everyone! Yesterday, Phil and I visited our showroom at The Barn at Todd Farm to move some new pieces in and to reset. This collection of photos is a sampling of what we have in stock at The Barn. The beautiful mid-century style ottomans and coordinating pillows were made by our friends Jess and Andy at Modern Hub. We have a decent collection of hand-picked modern + vintage dinnerware and glassware. We also have a collection of things that we hand made: reclaimed wood coat racks + storage crates on casters, painted clay pots, and gold-dipped feather garlands. Come check out our new digs! The address is 275 Main St./Rt.1A, Rowley, MA.
