Commissioned Teak Media Console - SOLD
This mid-century modern media console was a commissioned project for a Blue Lamb client. To give this console a fresh look, we removed the skirt at the base, and we added some tapered wooden legs. The oil color that we wanted to use on the teak (Watco Danish Oil in Red Mahogany) seemed to be the only color that our local hardware stores didn't carry, so we had to special order it. We thought if we painted one of the panels white, the piece would be more unique, and it would play well with some of the existing design elements in our client's room. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result. Here is the after photo:

Dipped Vintage Children's Table - SOLD
Phil and I were gifted this darling vintage table by our daughter's preschool, and it just happens to fit perfectly with our paint dipped children's chairs. Love the combo. We hand painted the lower portion of these table legs with Benjamin Moore Advance white semi-gloss paint. We treated the upper portion of the table with a wipe on polyurethane finish to protect the wood from moisture and wear. The table measures: 32 1/4"W x 23"D x 21 1/2"H.
Le Deuxieme Cheval - Original Painting - $285
Blue Lamb's creative director, Lauren Drake Santoro painted this
large-scale horse silhouette during the winter of 2016. Lauren used acrylic paint on a stretch cotton canvas that measures: 24"W x 2"D x
36"H. This piece is titled, "Le Deuxieme Cheval," which is french for The Second Horse.

Paul McCobb-Inspired Shelving Unit - SOLD
Phil and I re-purposed and refinished parts from a hutch that was manufactured mid-century to create this shelving unit. The styling of it was inspired by a Paul McCobb modular credenza that we restored last year. The finish on the interior is two hand-painted coats of gray Benjamin Moore Advance semi-gloss paint over primer. We treated the exterior with mixture of tung and linseed oils to
accentuate the beauty of the wood grain and to protect the wood from
moisture and wear. This piece measures: 44 1/2"W x 18"D x 30"H. The space above the bottom shelf is 7 1/2" H. The spaces above the top two shelves are: 6 3/4"H.
