Painting on Canvas - Twiggy - SOLD

This is an original, one-of-a-kind, large-scale acrylic painting on a deep edge stretched linen canvas.  It features a monochromatic portrait of Leslie Lawson (more commonly known as Twiggy), the famous British supermodel and fashion icon of the 1960s.  The canvas measures: 24"W x 30"H.  The color pallet for this painting was inspired by the navy blue mid-mod dresser/credenza set that we recently refinished and sold.  We think large scale contemporary paintings nicely compliment mid-century furnishings, and we hope to produce a solid collection of them.  Painted in October of 2014 by Lauren Drake Santoro of Blue Lamb Furnishings.
 

Kent Coffey Perspecta Triple Dresser - SOLD

This one-of-a kind, mid-century modern chest of drawers was manufactured in Lenoir, NC as part of the Kent Coffey Perspecta collection.  It has classic clean lines, beautiful architectural details, and is solidly built of walnut and pecan.  The natural wood grain on the three middle drawer fronts has been refinished.  The oil-rubbed bronze pulls on the three middle drawers are new.  The shell of the dresser and the sculpted left and right-hand drawers have been painted.  The paint colors are white, and a neutral blue-green-gray. Our technique involves hand-painting multiple coats of a Benjamin Moore premium semi-gloss paint over two coats of BIN primer.  All nine drawers slide well, and are solidly constructed with dovetail joints.  For a little extra spice, we lined the drawers with a high-end wall covering featuring a geometric lace print.  This is a very versatile, statement worthy piece of furniture.  It would be excellent for storage in any room.  This chest of drawers measures: 64"W x 19"D x 31"H.

Navy MCM Lowboy Dresser/Credenza - SOLD

This handsome, mid-century modern lowboy is one of a kind.  It has beautiful architectural details with simple, classic, clean lines. The piece is very solid.  We refinished it with two hand-painted coats of Benjamin Moore Advance (a premium semi-gloss paint) over two coats of BIN primer.  The wooden tapered legs have also been refinished.  The drawers are constructed with dovetail joints. All nine slide well.  Modestly sized, this lowboy measures: 60"W x 18"D x 31"H.  If you would like a dresser set, please let us know. We have the coordinating highboy as well.  Thank you!
