Blue Modern Vintage Spool Bed - SOLD

Beautifully refinished, three quarter-size blue vintage spool bed.  Most likely manufactured in the late 1800s or early 1900s.  Includes the headboard, footboard, side rails, support slats, and a mattress.  Side rails attach to the headboard and footboard with metal brackets. Easy to assemble.  Gorgeously crafted solid wood frame with two fresh coats of semi-gloss paint over an oil-based primer.  The firm mattress (44"W x 62"L) was manufactured in 2002 by the Jamestown Manufacturing Co. in Jamestown, NY.  Perfectly fit for a child or a small adult under 5'-2", the bed frame measures: 67"L x 47"W x 34"H (height of the posters).   The bed frame can be made longer to accommodate a custom made mattress by replacing the side rails and installing slats. It can not, however, be made wider.  Though not perfectly, a twin or a full size fitted sheet will fit the 3/4 size mattress.
